After leaving the Mavin Records, Nigerian Pop star and multiple award winner Reekado Banks has revealed why he decided to sack his long time manager and a blood brother, Temi. The later has been his manager right from the beginning of his career till he left the Nigerias’s number one music company and the 25 years old star seems to be tired of the old shoe and decided to step up his game.
ACM gathered that the Next-Rated award winner chooses Twenty20 Media led by Davido’s former manager Ajiboye Kamal over his brother for the sole reason of stepping up his game. He revealed in an interview on radio and his words are caption below:
“It was just next level dealings, I wanted to get somewhere else, the vision became a lot farther, like I saw farther than I used to see and I just needed somebody that’ll see as much, most especially someone that’s been there with other people (artists) but me and my brother are cool”.
On exhausting the four years record deal, Reekado left Don jazzy’s led Mavin Record in 2018 after which he launched his own music company named; “Banks Music”. He has ‘Rora’ currently trending to his credit in 2019.
Critically speaking, this is a very right thing for the pop star to do as his career seems dwindling since he left his former label. We wish him well.
