BEAUTIE OKPONYA: FULL PROFILE BIOGRAPHY
Ote Beautie Okponya is an IGEDE born model, she is the last child of Mr and Mrs Okponya Ode. She had her early education at the place of her birth. She hails from Anyadu, a small community inbOju Local government area of Benue state, Nigeria. Sh hold a B.Tech Degree in Food science and technology from the Federal University of Agriculture makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria.
She’s a an intelligent, creative, amiable and optimistic person who thrives on learning and experiencing new things. A little interview with the family members revealed that she’s an asset sent from heaven, a gift to the family and the world at large. “Her intelligence didn’t just start today but since the teenage years as she has done the family proud in all things, we are most atimes surprised at her achievement but we have nothing to say than Thank God and support her” notes her elder brother.
She dared into modelling in 2015 and contested for face of IGEDE UAM 2016/17 and won, this was her first ever contest. In 2018, she contested for face of Adole stitches; one of Benue’s most reputed and best fashion designing agency and became their brand Ambassador, contested for Face of Benue Gospel and came 4th runner and then her current crown (Finest Girl North Central Unity) a feet she achieved by merit. Her hard work in the industry has fetched her numerous awards within the short space of 2018-3019 which includes: Fast Rising Female Model 2018, Fast Rising Benue Queen 2018, Innovative Queen of the year 2019, and Best dressed Female student 2019 with numerous Nominations and recognition by corporate bodies and organizations.
She is committed to the industry of pageantry so much that she shocked the world when she contested with a broken knee, an injury she sustained few days to the contest and went ahead to win. Her hobbies has changed over the years but she’s still a lover of wrestling, plays basketball, loves writing and derives joy from mounting the runway.
She’s a humanitarian who’s committed to the girl Child right advocacy andhas been in the business of empowering young ladies with the requisite skills to enable them become financially independent and survive in the ever changing Nigerian economy. Her aim is to groom women who will become independent mothers and assist their families, not just that but also become the female leaders the world seeks and will appreciate. She believes in equity, justice and love of one another.
